Longtime fans of the Little Italy location, found ourselves near this location, thought we'd give it a try. Food was similar, but not as flavorful. The location had good parking and the staff were friendly. Food was good, but not great.

Filippi's makes a phenomenal pizza! I really enjoy the meat lovers, large! Thats enough for 6 people! Doesn't matter the price! Comfort food!

My family and I came for dinner at this location on 12/22/17 for dinner and ordered a ham and pineapple pizza, lasagna, lasagna + ravioli + spaghetti and meatballs combo and a fettuccini alfredo with shrimp dish. Everything was great except the fetuccini Alfredo. It didn't taste fresh like at other restaurants and didn't eat too much of it. Everybody in my family that tasted it agrees that maybe the alfredo sauce was from a can? Shrimp frozen? Don't know for sure. Maybe next time it will be better.

Finding this place was a pleasant little surprise for me. I was really impressed. Their food was delicious. Great atmosphere and decor. The service was great also.

Wonderful place with creative dishes and great ambiance for a Saturday brunch with the girls. Really enjoyed dining here and trying a couple of fresh cocktails and their eggs purgatorio dish with hot salami.

This restaurant offers both great food and friendly service. We tried the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it did not disappoint. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana and ravioli and it was outstanding. They provide delicious sourdough bread while you wait for your food. The setting inside is very welcoming and it is kid friendly. they have high chairs for the little ones. next time we will try the pizza! two thumps way up.

So been coming here for over 30 years. They made my pizza completely careless. I called and spoke with the manager and she was completely careless. She is laughing, well here is my photo and my 1 Star 🌟 So be aware of this place and their manager that completely doesn't care about quality

Food is always good here. Recently went to celebrate father in-laws birthday. Made a reservation and even then it took about 20 minutes to be seated. But as usual, we ordered food and came on no time. We were a party of 11 and food came quick. Was delicious as always and server was great. We will continue to go to this location for dinner.

Lousy employees; reflects on the food.

This is by far the absolute greatest place to have a pizza! Their pizzas have their own distinct flavor which is high above any other pizza. If you've never had a Filippi's pizza your truly missing out.

Last week was our first time we came to that magnificent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the high quality cuisine and fine drinks and with the comfortable charge. We will no doubt come back again.

I’ve been to one of these at the little Italy location and I actually thought this location was better, they had more options then the little Italy spot and there was less of a wait here. I think I got the manicotti in this picture, I don’t have a huge appetite all the time but this was more then filling enough. Service was top notch and the environment had that nice respectable family feel, looking forward to coming back for sure.

Well, we had a large Cesar salad with grilled chicken, meat lovers pizza, and ravioli and lasagna. All of the food was good except the pizza crust was a ittle hard. Wished I could have ordered a thin crust pizza. Overall it was good food.

Just ordered food to take out and they messed up my order all im asking for my money back was nearly charged a 100 dollars but one item was missing wich i ordered an xlarge salad i just felt i got robbed its suppose to b a proffessional service but its seems unproffessional 😴

I love Labellas which is close by Filippi's but coming here was a good thing. We found a seat right away and the waiters and waitresses were busy but always stopping by. My kids loved the pizza especially the cheese! Maybe it doesn't have the games but it's a restraunt. I bought a Medium meat lover style pizza and hot wings for us 3. Plenty of food and some leftovers to share which didn't disappoint! We are going again soon!

Great service from our waitress Gina! We loved her attention to detail. Even after we had 6 more people show up to our dinner.

Cute and cozy with friendly staff. The food is great and I'm pretty certain there's Italian folk music in the background. Seems like a great place for a quiet family dinner or relaxed date

Very disapointed. I used to love Filipis from Imperial beach, had around 2 years without tasting their awesome pizza. I decided to take out pizza from the chula vista location for the first time to taste that awesome pizza again, but was so disapointed. The pizza was tasteless, burnt and stiff, my jaw felt sore just by eating this. It felt like I was eating cardboard, so sad, little ceasars is way better than the 20 dlls pizza I just ate. I'll give it 2 stars because it used to be good but the pizza I ate was worse than the ones you used to get at the cafeteria in highschool.

FOOD IS AMAZING AND SOME THE STAFF ARE THE FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET.

As good as I remembered. That said would have gotten extra cheese on the pie.Make note, the bread in the pic is complimentary. The larger pie, is a size large. Half pepperoni and half sausage, the smaller pie is a personal pizza. Thought the wifey and I could split that. Lastly, had one other person order spaghetti and ravioli, half and half. Came away spending about 50 bucks plus the less the tip.

It was the Perfect Place for the Birthday Party of Champions, the Restaurant Staff and Kitchen Members was something out of a Great Hollywood Movie Blockbuster....

Been coming here for a long time, not sure if there was a change in management. There was a big drop in service, from basic drink refills, picking plates up from tables, offering deserts... etc. The young man almost seemed if we were some burden, almost seemed if they wanted to start their weekend vice focus on their customers. I hope this was an isolated incident or maybe a reflection of management. The food was still good,.maybe next time we will just order take out.

Love this place. All of there locations are great but this one stood out to me. The lady at the front made sure my order was correct like made sure they made it correctly. The best part was that she ran out of the restaurant to give me back my debit card. True customer service!

The dinner was good I have had better tomatoe sauce from a jar and I also had a dessert called Tiramisu which I was charged $5.50 for and it was in a 3" diameter by 1 1/2" container. It was the biggest rip off I have ever seen and will never order another dessert from them again. They also forgot my Tiramisu and when I called them they acted like they didn't want to deal with the issue and brushed me off to Door Dash because they delivered it. It was all around a terrible experience and horrible customer service. I should have taken the refund because it definitely wasn't worth the wait.

Our servers were pretty good. The inside is all designed very nice. Some dishes like the lasagna were very good. The pizza was delicious. The only things I felt could have used improvements were the bread the served at the start of the meal, and the meatball sandwich.

Slow service even when not that busy. My drink was empty forever and no sign of waitress. Pizza was decent. All toppings slip off of crust when u pick it up. Tasty but a bit too little red sauce. Over priced for what you get.

We went to Filippi's in National City/Chula Vista and we were disappointed. The restaurant is old and it was cool to see the original style but it was not clean and worn out. The carpet is old and couldn't tell if the color was red or black. It smelled stale. Ordered the macaroni bowl with cellentani and meat sauce. It came out soupy and it had marinara sauce. It still was good just not the best. My daughter ordered Shrimp Filippi which was excellent. The pizza was great. We still love Filippi's just recommend eating at another location. Go to their location on India St or in Imperial Beach the service and the food is so much better there.
